New Features
→ Performance Upgrade # 3 is now LIVE. Here are a few stats for the tech nerds
Scrolling of symbols, let's pick Russell 2000 in the Screener table is now faster than ever. Our prior implementation would take 2 minutes and 23 seconds for a user to scroll the table to the 2000th symbol, our new implementation averages 31.2 seconds (77% decrease).
Memory consumption while scrolling a large amount of symbols has now dropped from an average of 408.9MB to 168.8MB (a 58% decrease, which is a good thing in memory consumption) making Deepvue compatible with low RAM devices.
Our 2nd test was a stress test of users scrolling and consuming large amounts of data, it cause a lot of memory issues on low RAM devices causing slowness over long periods of time. Scrolling 2000+ symbols and viewing 10+ columns of data used to consume 447MB prior to this update and is now on average around 177.7MB (a 60% decrease is memory usage, which is a huge positive)
In short, devices with lower memory capabilities can now use Deepvue and for the those with powerful computers Deepvue will now consume much less memory.
→ Alert Updates 🚀
· Ability to edit trendline alerts on Charting Module after they are active
· Added Alerts Icon to Charting Module to create Price Alert
· Price Alert Modal now autofill with price, improving user experience
· Price alerts now show as a horizontal orange line, not a flag on the Charting Module, as requested by many
→ Stats Module Updates 🚀
· Added demarcation line between Reported and Estimated Data
· Improved logic to show 3 Quarters of Acceleration / Deceleration
· Added Show / Hide Stats Chart text to improve UX (we are working on another update after feedback on this)
→ Display Sector Icons next to Sectors making the Deepvue experience more visual than ever
→ New Splits Database: We built our own in-house database for Splits after sourcing the data in the past from various sources lead to many inconsistencies and errors. We will continuously improve our process on this so that Data Quality is never compromised.
→ Stage Analysis v2: We've improved our methodology for calculating Stages in Deepvue.
