Change in Estimate Revisions
In an earlier roundtable we discussed the possibility of integrating a data point in DV that shows the % (or $) changes in the estimate revisions over a certain period (for an examaple cf. https://twitter.com/ManishSaini110/status/1726264864677752946/photo/1).
Unfortunately, I haven't heard anything more about this awesome idea since then. It would be nice if this could be implemented relatively quickly! Because it would be a real surplus value of DV compared to Marketsmith. Matching Marketsmith's datapoints into the end of the year is one important step so much is fore sure. However, the next would be to create further added value. Such a data point can make a significant contribution to this.
The purpose of such a data point is to enable (techno-)fundamental traders to assess a shift in the business dynamics or analysts' perception of a share more quickly and to compare it with other shares. In other words, this data point should explain where institutional capital is flowing and make it clear why. The exemplary list linked above demonstrates this impressively well.
